Why Participate
This is an opportunity to come together as the Body of Christ and lift up His name in the community. We are all very focused on our own church activities, but this is an opportunity to impact the community and pray for God’s blessing on the Downriver area.
We can shift the atmosphere in our communities when we pray in unity. It’s also an opportunity to show the love of Jesus to the community. Several churches in Wyandotte do community outreaches and have done a fine job in showing forth God’s love, so this is an extension of what they have done.
It is also an opportunity to meet other churches and their members and foster unity in our Body of Christ here in the Downriver Area. There is much power in unity!
WHAT TO BRING
Comfortable shoes, water bottle (we will not have any water or food for sale), a lawn chair if you desire to sit.
We encourage attendees to make signs to carry; i.e., “Honk if you love Jesus”, “God loves Downriver”, etc. We also encourage attendees to write on one side of their sign what church and city they are from.
